Christine M. Smith M.A. is descendant of White Earth and Red Lake Band of Ojibwe and a descendant of George Bongo with generational roots in Minnesota. She is passionate about children and families, and equity. She has over 10 years of experience in human services in both non-profit and state organizations. She holds a Master’s degree in Family Life Education from Concordia University, Bachelors in Communication from Augsburg University and is Adverse Childhood Experience trained, with a focus on understanding historical trauma, epigenetics and healing.
